Born in Birmingham, he moved to Limerick at the age of 4, growing up on a farm in Mungret-Patrickswell before leaving Limerick for University.  John's journey back to Limerick ten years ago to running for the office of Mayor of Limerick and his vision for Limerick is outlined in the video above.  For those wanting to know more about what he will now want to do as Mayor, during his campaign he outlined all his policies here
