Introducing the Independent Mayor of Limerick

Born in Birmingham, Mayor John moved to Limerick at the age of 4, growing up on a farm in Mungret-Patrickswell before leaving Limerick for University.  John's journey back to Limerick ten years ago before being elected as the first person ever to the office of Mayor of Limerick and his vision for Limerick is outlined in the video above.  For those wanting to know more about what he promised to do as Mayor, during his campaign, he outlined all his policies here.  Once elected and after consultation with other elected councillors and stakeholders, he quickly published a full five year mayoral programme reflecting those promises which can be found at this link => More for Limerick Programme
